10-mile [view map] A scenic cruise out of the Lewiston/Auburn area along the banks of the Androscoggin River and back following the tree lined curves of the Little Androscoggin River. Riders will encounter a few challenging hills, including a one-mile long stair step climb. Great for beginners and the whole family!
25-mile [view map] Up for a bit more? Try the 25-mile route. It features the same scenic start and finish as the 10-mile route, but adds a trek through the rolling countryside of Poland and Auburn. This route includes no major climbs and is perfect for the beginner or those just looking for an easy, yet longer ride.
50-mile [view map] Challenge yourself by participating in the 50-mile route that provides a sample of some of the most scenic and challenging terrain Maine has to offer. Twisting through Range Ponds State Park and climbing by Thompson Lake, the route will test your endurance but reward your senses with stunning lake views and gorgeous fall foliage.
100-mile [view map] The Big Daddy! Want to really test yourself while doing your part for a great cause? Try the 100-mile route. This epic 12-town course passes through the hilly Western Maine Lakes Region and will challenge even seasoned riders. But the rewards will be plenty as you roll around Long Lake, Pleasant Lake, and Thompson Lake. Enjoy rest stops in some of Maine's picture postcard small towns like Bridgton, Harrison, and Casco. Conquer this route and you will know you have accomplished something special for yourself and the cancer community.
Riders choosing the 100-mile option will be the first group to be released on event day. There will also be a cut-off point on the route that riders will need to reach before a specific time in order to complete the route in its entirety. Riders who arrive at this checkpoint past the cut-off time will be redirected and to a shorter course. The longer course options have challenging hills that novice riders may find difficult. |
